The pilling you've noticed is likely from rubbing against rough surfaces, such as pool edges or pebbled areas, which can cause damage to any fabric, even the most durable ones (except jean type fabric). Our fabric is a premium 230GSM/m2 polyester blend, thicker and more resistant than standard swimwear fabrics (most swimwear companies use fabric of around 180-200GSM/m2), and our fabrics are also independently tested for durability by a firm in Switzerland.
